Eldey is a very talented 4 gaited mare with great tölt qualities and a lot of x- factor and charisma. I would say that is her main thing is the tölt. She’s very forward and is sensitive to the aids, and therefore she not suitable for all riders. Although she is trustworthy and confident with all surroundings and never spooky.

She has been in quite many T1 and T3 competitions with her former rider and highest score is 6,93.

She’s not easy to take trot and canter with a rider. But she does it very well in longing. I think that could be improved a lot with more dressage work. Because she fun to work with and wants to please the rider.

Her father is the fantastic Roði frá Múla, which has given great horses with especially good tölt quality. Roði has received 1 prize for offspring’s 🥇

Her mother has only got scores for her confirmation, with 1 prize of 8,13

Hátíð is a really nice 5 gaited mare with super temperament. She has 5 separated gaits and is easy to ride. Would fit for most riders. Confident and secure with surroundings and medium willingness. She’s well educated and have been a school horse at Hólar university. Her pace is really clean and easy, and she would be perfect for a young rider or someone that wants to improve and learn more about riding pace.

She has scored 6,26 in F2.

Like I said, Hátíð has a really nice, calm and sweet character and is also very easy and sweet in all handling. She would be the perfect companion to enjoy both luxury riding and competition. And on top of the all be a great teacher to her new rider and owner.

Her father was the big, talented and beautiful Dynur frá Dísarstöðum. He’s the son of the famous Álfasteinn frá Selfossi. Dynur has received in total 8,45 in FIZO. He had high movements and even separated gaits. Also he got 9,0 for back and croup, and proportions.

Her mother was also a super mare with high leg action. She received 8,53 for ridden abilities, 9,0 for pace and spirit!

Therefore Hátíð could also be very interesting for someone that wants to breed great horses!
